Описание: From action to static, fully clothed to nude, and full-body to close-up poses, this high resolution figure reference enables digital artists to give their creations ultra-realistic features and traditional artists to create detailed or monumental-size paintings and drawings. This comprehensive figure study of a single female model provides 360-degree surround and detailed views of every part of the body from multiple angles with particular attention given to the most challenging areas such as eyes, hands, and feet. Phonemes show the mouth in 10 different positions--A, C, E, F, L, M, O, U, W, and rest--and images of expressions register six universally recognized emotions--anger, fear, disgust, happiness, sadness, and surprise--plus neutral.
The figure reference is designed for use in a computer, is PC and Mac compatible, and only requires standard photo-viewing software such as that built into Windows and OS X. Images are photographed at 21 megapixels; cropped to eliminate excess background; developed in 16-bit to normalize white balance and exposure; and painstakingly edited to remove basic blemishes such as dry skin, pimples, and scars while retaining all other natural skin detail. Ensuing images are virtually indistinguishable from the source PSD files, yielding ultra-real, detailed, and close-up views of a natural, red-headed model.

Ana?s Nin, the diarist, novelist, and provocateur, occupied a singular space in twentieth-century culture, not only as a literary figure and voice of female sexual liberation but as a celebrity and symbol of shifting social mores in postwar America. Before Madonna and her many imitators, there was Nin; yet, until now, there has been no major study of Nin as a celebrity figure.
In Writing an Icon, Anita Jarczok reveals how Nin carefully crafted her literary and public personae, which she rewrote and restyled to suit her needs and desires. When the first volume of her diary was published in 1966, Nin became a celebrity, notorious beyond the artistic and literary circles in which she previously had operated. Jarczok examines the ways in which the American media appropriated and deconstructed Nin and analyzes the influence of Nin’s guiding hand in their construction of her public persona.
The key to understanding Nin’s celebrity in its shifting forms, Jarczok contends, is the Diary itself, the principal vehicle through which her image has been mediated. Combining the perspectives of narrative and cultural studies, Jarczok traces the trajectory of Nin’s celebrity, the reception of her writings. The result is an innovative investigation of the dynamic relationships of Nin’s writing, identity, public image, and consumer culture.
In 1852 Hannah Rebecca Crowell married sea captain William Burgess and set sail. Within three years, Rebecca Burgess had crossed the equator eleven times and learned to navigate a vessel. In 1856, 22-year-old Rebecca saved the ship Challenger as her husband lay dying from dysentery. The widow returned to her family’s home in Sandwich, Massachusetts, where she refused all marriage proposals and died wealthy in 1917. This is the way Burgess recorded her story in her prodigious journals and registers, which she donated to the local historical society upon her death, but there is no other evidence that this dramatic event occurred exactly this way. In The Captain’s Widow of Sandwich, Megan Taylor Shockley examines how Burgess constructed her own legend and how the town of Sandwich embraced that history as its own. Through careful analysis of myriad primary sources, Shockley also addresses how Burgess dealt with the conflicting gender roles of her life, reconciling her traditionally masculine adventures at sea and her independent lifestyle with the accepted ideals of the period’s “Victorian woman.”

The 1970s saw women coming into their own, working hard to create new roles at home and in sports, culture, politics, and business. It was also the start of the "fitness revolution." At this unique intersection of feminism and athleticism, Lisa Lindahl's game-changing entrepreneurial journey began.
She invented the first sports bra, the "Jogbra," in 1977. It was the right product at the right time, throwing Lisa into a high-stakes world of business and power--a world for which she was not fully prepared. Unleash the Girls is the improbable story of a young artist with a disability who used her powers of creativity to solve a vexing problem and ended up leveling the playing field for girls and women across the globe--literally, unleashing the girls.
Her invention would become a feminist icon and the company she founded would change an industry. But amid the success, Lisa continued to search for meaning and the true nature of power and beauty. This is the untold story of the invention of the sports bra and how it changed the world for girls and women...and, along the way, changed Lisa, too.

A section of time-stopping photos of actions including jumping, falling, or swinging a sword offers artists a series of expertly photographed views that would be very challenging to achieve with a studio model. Art Models 7 also presents a number of the series trademark stationary poses photographed in 24-point rotation and shot in the round. For artists who work in fine detail, close-ups and dramatic perspectives have been added for numerous positions and can be found on the companion disc in resolutions up to 20 megapixels.
Eunice Lipton was a fledging art historian when she first became intrigued by Victorine Meurent, the nineteenth-century model who appeared in Edouard Manet's most famous paintings, only to vanish from history in a haze of degrading hearsay. But had this bold and spirited beauty really descended into prostitution, drunkenness, and early death—or did her life, hidden from history, take a different course altogether? Eunice Lipton's search for the answer combines the suspense of a detective story with the revelatory power of art, peeling off layers of lies to reveal startling truths about Victorine Meurent—and about Lipton herself.
