Durante los ltimos a os se han hecho m ltiples investigaciones sobre estado de flujo (flow), todas ellas de muy diversa naturaleza, dada la versatilidad del concepto para ser aplicado a distintos contextos. Lo que se pretende con el presente trabajo es contribuir y ampliar la literatura sobre estado de flujo en la esfera online, m s concretamente, en el mbito de las redes sociales; buscando as que las marcas contemplen este constructo en sus estrategias de marketing digital. Para ello, en primer lugar, se establece un marco te rico en el que definimos y describimos los aspectos m s importantes del estado de flujo. Posteriormente, ahondamos en las caracter sticas de dicho fen meno pero, esta vez, aplicado al entorno virtual, y lo relacionamos con t rminos propios de la disciplina comercial. Por ltimo, y a modo de estudio emp rico del que extraer conclusiones pr cticas, se realiza un an lisis estad stico para conocer la percepci n de los individuos acerca de las experiencias ptimas que ofrecen las distintas redes sociales.
