He has also worked in the secular community in various roles; a deputy clerk in the Knox County, Tennessee court system, and has taught college-age Underage Alcohol Consumption, and DUI classes for twenty-one years. He is quick to attest that teaching in this area has become his true calling.
Mike enjoys reading and writing in the area of Theology, and pursuing his hobbies in precision rifle shooting, and hunting. He and his wife Rebecca are active members at First Baptist Church in Clinton, Tennessee.
