As he encounters different animals, he soon discovers that each has a different opinion and philosophy of life. Which one is correct and what can he learn from each of them?
He then meets the wise old owl, who helps him to come to a better understanding of the opinions of the other animals, and also helps to steer him into a direction that appears to make more sense.
The book will naturally encourage the reader to ask questions, and help develop their understanding of Ely's question and the potential answers that follow.
