Initial submissions have been evaluated by external evaluators and the editor on a double-blind evaluation procedure before approval. In the second and third stage and in close cooperation with the authors, the approved submissions were revised, approved by the authors accordingly before their inclusion in the volume. The empirical work presented in the articles is in the sole responsibility of the authors since it was impossible for the Editor to check the results and the final conclusions made. The general intention of the volume and the strategic goal of the Editor was to include articles on a wide spectrum of economic and managerial issues to create a useful collective volume to be used by other researchers as an additional material tool as well as by academics in their teachings.
