Of various papers examined, it was found that those of the Philadelphia College were all inferior, and so, to make a test case, there was selected, as the best of this class, a paper by Mr. Schrank, which took the prize in the New York College of Pharmacy in 187 5, as the best essay of the season, the student himself graduating at the head of his class.
