Описание: Originally the book Salvation: A Mystery is imagined by the poet herself to mystify our daily life to be more moral and just to revive our divine self. The poem encourages the poet to merge the entity with Nature to feel the Creators glory as it is her harmonious journey towards petty-major lives. Only the poet feels the unique power in unity to diversities. The one color white is the symbol of peace mingling together seven colours to reflect the light. The bower of the poems is decorated with multicolored flowers to feel the more beauty in revelry. Only Nature is the revelation of the Gods entity. In the lovers realm its souls knowledge to love and beloved is our religion. Thus, section Light begins to enlighten our human souls. Section Divine is led by mystique zeal of the poet. The zeal in vision may be true or lie to hear from the unconscious as the poems need to realize the Divine power. To err is human so souls are led to salvation- creation. Creativity is delight, creativity is pain also. Section Knowledge is the replica of experience and the revolt of unconscious. The poems pine for more knowledge as the spirit is splitted itself to reveal the anarchic nation and actually it is a conflict in love between men and women. The beloved soul always pines for Home sweet home.

Описание: FIVE SUFI ALLEGORIES IN POETRY & PROSE Farid al-din 'Attar, Azz-eddin al-Muqaddasi, Obeyd Zakani, Shah Da'i & Parvin Etesami Translations by Paul Smith & Edward FitzGerald Farid al-din 'Attar (d. 1221) was a grear Sufi poet who composed over 5o books. His most loved, apart from his ghazals is 'The Conference of the Birds' in masnavi (rhyming couplets) form that would influence all the following poets in their writing of Sufi philosophy in the way of allegories, using Nature. Azz-eddin al-Muqaddasi (d. 1280) is famous for one book, his 'Secret of Birds, Flowers' etc. in prose and poetry. "It has been said, perhaps with truth, that there is no document of such age to touch this one for a combination of mystical insight and understanding of human psychology." K. Winstone-Hamilton. Mouse & Cat by Obeyd Zakani is a satirical, epic allegory that was influential at the time it was composed (14th c.) and has remained so for the past 600 years. It is more than just a story for children (that some say brought about the cartoon of Tom & Jerry)... it is a story of the stupidity of the false power of those in power and a warning to all that such blind ambition always leads to destruction at the hands of one even more powerful. Sufi poet Shah Da'i (1406-1464) takes his clue from 'Attar and tells the marvellous allegory of the fish who go in search of an answer to their problem from the Ancient Wise Fish. Iran's recent great female poet Parvin Etesami (1907-1941) tells the simple but deep allegory of the lazy man and the hard-working spider in such a clever and engrossing way that her reason for telling it is subtle but truly enlightening. The correct rhymes and meaning are achieved. Illustrated. Large Format Paperback 7" x 10" 460 pages. COMMENTS ON PAUL SMITH'S TRANSLATION OF HAFIZ'S 'DIVAN'. "It is not a joke... the English version of ALL the ghazals of Hafiz is a great feat and of paramount importance. I am astonished." Dr. Mir Mohammad Taghavi (Dr. of Literature) Tehran. "Superb translations. 99% Hafiz 1% Paul Smith." Ali Akbar Shapurzman, translator of many mystical works in English into Persian. Paul Smith (b.1945) is an Australian poet, author and translator of many books of Sufi poets of the Persian, Arabic, Urdu, Turkish, Pashtu and other languages... including Hafiz, Sadi, Nizami, Rumi, 'Attar, Sana'i, Jahan Khatun, Obeyd Zakani, Mu'in, Amir Khusrau, Nesimi, Kabir, Anvari, Ansari, Jami, Omar, Seemab and others and his poetry, fiction, plays, biographies, children's books and screenplays. www.newhumanitybooks.com

Описание: Karl Popper is best known for his contributions to the philosophy of science and the history of ideas. Elements of Popper's thought were clearly libertarian or conservative in character. His politics, however, were recognisably social democratic. His ideal of an open society was not a free market utopia, but a political community in which diverse people engaged with one another in constructive dialogue to seek political solutions to common problems. If Popper made important and enduring contributions to the libertarian and conservative traditions, it would be a mistake to uncritically label him a conservative or libertarian. Rather, Popper was a scholar who contributed to a range of different fields without being shackled to one particular perspective or approach. It is in this context that we should understand Popper's contribution to libertarian and conservative thought.

Описание: Fourteen-year-old Iranian-American Parvin Mohammadi sets out to win the ultimate date to homecoming in this heartfelt and outright hilarious debut.

Parvin Mohammadi has just been dumped--only days after receiving official girlfriend status. Not only is she heartbroken, she's humiliated. Enter high school heartthrob Matty Fumero, who just might be the smoking-hot cure to all her boy problems. If Parvin can get Matty to ask her to Homecoming, she's positive it will prove to herself and her ex that she's girlfriend material after all. There's just one problem: Matty is definitely too cool for bassoon-playing, frizzy-haired, Cheeto-eating Parvin. Since being herself hasn't worked for her in the past (see aforementioned dumping), she decides to start acting like the women in her favorite rom-coms. Those women aren't loud, they certainly don't cackle when they laugh, and they smile much more than they talk.

But Parvin discovers that being a rom-com dream girl is much harder than it looks. Also hard? The parent-mandated Farsi lessons. A confusing friendship with a boy who's definitely not supposed to like her. And hardest of all, the ramifications of the Muslim ban on her family in Iran. Suddenly, being herself has never been more important.

Olivia Abtahi's debut is as hilarious as it is heartfelt--a delightful tale where, amid the turmoil of high school friendships and crushes, being yourself is always the perfect way to be.
