They are in fear thinking that all the while people are wolves in sheep's clothing, with itching ears ready to carry the bone back to the bone catcher.Then, there are the people who would rather numb the pain with outward influences such as alcohol, drugs, partying and sex. Thinking that these things will replace the hurt, shame and present irreversible torture. They endure daily destructive behavior that is harmful to their bodies and unhelpful to situations that are already bad to begin with. Numbing the pain will only desensitize you for the moment, but soon the numbing wears off and that same pain is present once again to remind you that it never left in the first place.So, I asked myself where do I stand in the midst of every scenario spoken of. I have experienced many of them myself. Now, I no longer wanted to be guided by those feelings, but only to write.
