Another rare breed, the Akhal-Teke horse is considered to be one of the most beautiful horses that ever existed and although they are not endangered as the other horse breeds, they are still considered incredibly rare because they cannot be found in a lot of countries.

These are just some of the rarest breeds of horses that are still alive today. Organizations all over the world are doing their best to preserve these breeds and make sure their numbers will increase to prevent extinction. Breeding is also being well managed by experts to preserve the purity of these breeds and advanced technology is playing a major role in ensuring these rare breeds will continue to survive for a long time.
