Over 20 years, Bobby worked his way into the inner circle of New England Organized Crime earning a reputation for brutality, violence, and loyalty few could match.
And he made enemies.
During an attempted hit by a rival faction, Bobby suffered a life-threatening gunshot. As he lay there, bleeding, fighting for air, unable to run, the gunman walked up to him, placed the gun to Bobby's forehead, and squeezed the trigger, twice. The gun misfired, and the gunman ran off, leaving Bobby to die.
Bobby wasn't ready to die or give up.
He turned his talents into a path to a new life. His sheer determination allowed him to walk away from the life, as few have ever done, and live to talk about it.
