El envejecimiento y decline demografico en las sociedades avanzadas hacen que la dinamica economica y la reproduccion social de la poblacion dependan directamente de los aportes que hace la inmigracion. Sin embargo, estos mismos procesos demograficos propician una transformacion etnica de sus actuales equilibrios sociales y demograficos.
