Sono scritti in arzaghese, cio nel dialetto gallo-italico di Arzago d Adda, il paese della bassa bergamasca in cui ha sede la compagnia. Ogni poesia preceduta da una breve introduzione ed anche tradotta in italiano. Nel volumetto sono presenti anche un paragrafo sull ortografia adottata per la trascrizione e un breve commento sugli aggettivi e i pronomi dimostrativi in arzaghese, quest ultimo rivolto a coloro che volessero sapere perch nelle poesie sono usate certe forme "strane" rispetto a quelle dell italiano. Chiude il volumetto un breve capitolo su Arzago nell'800, con scritti dell'epoca.
