The author, Norman Michael Agard, was converted after a period of illness following approximately one year of smoking marijuana. However, he discovered the healing power of God after a few months of faithfully attending church, listening to and obeying the preached word.
On the night of this discovery, he was getting ready for regular Friday night Prayer Meeting, when he realized that his dream-like movements had left. He realized then that he was healed He was amazed and delighted
After a few months of walking with Jesus, he developed a deep hunger for the presence, power, and Word of God. Consequently, he was water baptized ahead of church schedule. A few months later, still driven by his hunger and thirst for God, he was gloriously baptized in the Holy Spirit on his bed while seeking God.
Soon afterwards, God used a young but grounded sister to make him soar. She asked him: "Brother Mikey, can you pray for an hour?." This drove him to extended periods of prayers and meditation in the Scriptures. Her next question, after a few months was: "Brother Mikey, have you ever thought of preaching ... like by the roadside?." This second question struck another chord that initiated his preaching ministry.
Subsequently, he shared the Gospel in schools and workplaces through Inter-School Christian Fellowships (ISCF) and Workers Christian Fellowships (WCF). A large number of students and workmates involved in those fellowships are serving the Lord today
Currently, he's hosting a Facebook Live program, House On Fire, has a ministry outreach in Guyana, and is pastoring under Senior Pastor and Apostle Ken Griffith at Christian Community Center Church in Brooklyn, New York. By the time this book is published, he will be well on his way to leading his own church
