Описание: This book lays the foundation necessary in order for you to properly interpret and understand the Book of Revelation.

Embark on a journey of discovery that begins with the words and ministry of Jesus the Messiah. His prophecies were directly linked to the later visions of John the Apostle. Johns visions were both historically relevant for the reader of his day and a prophetic canvas that painted a glimpse of things to come In Revelation: Dawn of this Age, you will:

-Understand why the prophecies of Jesus were spoken predominantly to the Jewish people about the end of the Mosaic Age.

-See what led Jesus to eventually come to his friend John in a powerful prophetic encounter that would forever shape the future of Gods people.

-Revisit some of the well-known discourses of Jesus in the Gospels from the Aramaic text in order to fully extract their meaning and gain new insights.

-Be fully prepared to approach the Book of Revelation, having the proper prophetic and historic context that is key to unlocking the mysteries of Johns visions.

This book isnt a primer to reading Revelation, its a prerequisite This is the first book of a three-part series. Book two provides commentary on Johns Apocalypse from chapters 1 to 11, and book three from chapters 12 to 22.

Both the prophecies of Jesus in much of the Gospels and Johns Revelation were primarily for the people of Israel. Many have suggested that either Johns Apocalypse has yet to be fulfilled, while others have said that it has been fulfilled entirely. However, there is a third conclusion: In addition to Johns prophecy being a message of hope to the first century community of Jewish and Gentile believers, there was more importantly a deeply embedded message of closure and context for the Jewish communities of Judea and of the diaspora. Jesus Himself also went into great detail in His prophecies in order to communicate to the descendants of Abraham this same message of context and closure. More specifically, Johns revelation is primarily Jewish-centric and Jewish-focused, re-affirming the Jewish place in the narrative of Gods grand design to redeem and restore all creation.

The Jews emphatically mattered and still matter to God and Jesus. But just as the Lord spoke through Isaiah, Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?, (Is 43:19) so too through the words of Jesus and John these themes of the new beginnings are revisited. Isaiah provided Israel with context for the calamity that befell them at that time. More importantly, He provided them with an invitation into the next chapter of Gods great work of restoration.

Johns revelation was like the prophecies of Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel to the descendants of Abraham. In the midst of great tribulation the ecclesiastical communities throughout Judea and the Roman empire faced, and amidst the tribulation that rattled a Rome on the brink of collapse, John was commissioned to prophesy. He was given a message of hope and context during the last years that led to the fall of Jerusalem and the Second Temple. Hope was proclaimed to the saints who had seen their great leaders martyred, and who themselves were facing tremendous pressure from both Jewish and Roman oppressors.

And context was given to the most devastating event in the entire history of the Jewish people: the destruction of the Holy Land, the ancient boundaries of the United Kingdom of Israel, the razing of the Second Temple, and the eventual displacement of the Jews from their homeland. Jesus and John provide the Jewish people with validation and understanding as to why these events took place, and what Yahweh God has invited them to in this age of Messiah.
