Описание: This book, Antariksha: Infinity Vol. 1, is the combination of three stories-ananta aloy (the space colony), abhijan (a trip to earth), and amrit (liquid of immortality). All three are science fiction-the first three part-vol. 1 of the science fiction series. The last three parts of Antariksha vol. 2-abastav (surreal), anabas (nonresidence), aparthiba (divine) are already published separately, published earlier than this vol 1 as they can be read separately. But it is better to read it as ananta aloy, abhijan, amrit, abastav, anabas, aparthiba. This is one unique fiction in world literature, pioneered in science fiction with space colony and space expedition with real science. It is the research work by the author over space science written in story format. The total research work has taken a time of fifteen years and has published in last six years. At AD 2500, the space colony boys are grown up at artificial atmosphere, communicating with earth boys to make visit to their unknown earth. The shape of earth has changed that time-one part was detached from earth by big bang at another star. And they make space expedition to one new satellite of Jupiter, where they get amrit, one rare type of liquid. In vol. 2, the boys become adults. Love has come within them. They heard one love fantasy from their storyteller friend. After repeated visits, they converged with the fantasy, and they detected and found the secret of the liquid. Then they found out that the new satellite of Jupiter is the part of earth. Everything is possible in the space of galaxies, clusters, and stars. Just imagine some of them after four hundred years.

Описание:

Finding a Voice - Asian Women in Britain published in 1978 and winner of the Martin Luther King award, was, and remains, an influential feminist book. Based on interviews, discussions and intimate one-to- one conversations with South Asian women, conducted often in Urdu, Hindi or Bengali (if they were most at ease in these languages) and sensitively translated, the book explores what it was like to be a migrant, a worker, and a woman straddled between two cultures in late 1970s Britain. Through women's experiences, feelings and analysis of their own lives it examines family relationships, growing militancy at work, experiences of racist and misogynistic immigration policies, school life and also friendship and love.

Some of the iconic anti-racist and working-class struggles and other key events of the 1970s which have a powerful resonance today are described here from the point of view of the Asian women who participated in them. Among them is the strike at the Grunwick photo processing plant, which was led by the indomitable Jayaben Desai and drew support from thousands of trade unionists and feminists from all over Britain and is today once again an inspiration for many low-paid workers in Britain's gig economy. The book also examines, again through South Asian women's voices, the horrors of the first immigration detention centres and so-called 'virginity testing'; issues of mental health and isolation.

This edition of the book includes a remarkable new chapter titled 'Reflecting on Finding a Voice in 2018' in which young South Asian women in Britain describe what the book means to them today and in what ways their lives are different, and similar, to those of the women in the book. In this context they write, among other things, about organising against violence against women, Islamophobia, racism of the white middle-classes, struggles against heteronormativity, the battles for justice at Yarlswood detention centre, commemorating the Grunwick strike and the ups and downs of mother-daughter relationships in South Asian families.

Описание: The development of theoretical physics can be seen as a continuous improvement of the models of space and time. In particular, the beginning of the 21st century brought a new vision into quantum physics: quantum particles move in space only, time measured with clocks is merely a numerical order of particles motion. This so called "a-temporal" view of physics offers a radically new understanding of the micro and macro universe. On the basis of the notion of time as numerical order of material change, in this book the authors introduce suggestive unitary and holistic perspectives in the interpretation and explanation of several physical phenomena of contemporary physics. It is shown that the concept of time as a mathematical quantity measuring the numerical order of material changes resolves Zeno problems on motion, hypothetical travel into past, twin paradox of special relativity and allow new perspectives to be opened in the interpretation and explanation of Einstein-Podolski-Rosen experiment and of non-local correlations between subatomic particles. Moreover, a timeless description of the gravitational interaction and the idea of a timeless three-dimensional quantum vacuum as a fundamental bridge between gravity and quantum behaviour of matter are developed. Finally, in the second part of the book, after analysing the fundamental features of some relevant unitary theories of contemporary physics (such as superstring theory and loop quantum gravity) and making some considerations about being versus becoming and atomism versus monism in modelling physical reality at a fundamental level, it is shown that the replacement of the concept of time with the numerical order of material change provides a new suggestive interpretation of the fundamental unitary field theories opening the doors to a real "timeless theory of everything". The use of a simple and fluid language makes the book accessible to a wide reading public.
