Since 2010, Francisca Artigues, the mother of Spanish painter Miquel Barcel (born 1957), has embroidered her sons drawings. Inspired by the Mediterranean and anthropological motifs, Barcel s drawings and Artigues reproductions on linen featuring the natural habitats of land and sea are documented in Vivarium.
