The betrayal is painful and the family, left with little money and a sick child to care for, find themselves gasping for air. Life, seen through the predicament of the sick child, affirms a faith that God indeed works everything out in the end.

In every scene, we find in the characters some of the simple, yet poignant attitudes that define our choices both small and great, and all of which are carefully woven into the tapestry of our lives and those of our families.
