Leur intimit r side dans l'appel de leur Seigneur au travers des hymnes et Cantiques de Sa Gloire. Sa Servitude est leur source de joie. Ils sont d pouill s de toute contrainte physiologique. Ils ne sont point sujet aux sauts d'humeur. Ils r sident au paradis et dans les sept cieux. Ils surpassent les humains en adoration car leur existence pr c de la leur et sont dot s de plus grandes facult s. Ils font preuve de plus de pi t que les humains car innocents de nature et incapables d'erreurs et de m faits. Ils ne demandent que l'absolution des p ch s pour les humains. Cela fait montre de leur attention notre gard dans la fa on dont ils ont model s par Dieu. Dieu nous les a assign s comme gardiens car un gardien est plus parfait que celui qu'il garde. The "Second Journey" takes the narrator to Paris to visit the Exposition Universelle of 1900, where al-Muwayliḥī casts the same relentlessly critical eye on European society, modernity, and the role of Western imperialism as it ripples across the globe.
