Um 1975 betrug die gr Ÿte Spannweite 404 m, 1995 betrug sie bereits 856 m und liegt heute bei 1104 m. Der wirtschaftliche Bereich f 1/4r die konkurrierenden H ngebr 1/4cken wird zunehmend auf noch gr Ÿere Spannweiten eingeschr nkt und Schr gkabelbr 1/4cken stehen weltweit im Mittelpunkt des Interesses der Br 1/4ckeningenieure.
Im vorliegenden Werk werden alle Phasen des Entwurfs, der Montageplanung und der Bauausf 1/4hrung grunds tzlich behandelt und anhand von ca. 250 ausgef 1/4hrten Beispielen erl utert und illustriert. Dabei wird bewusst kein Bezug auf Vorschriften genommen. Die dargestellten Br 1/4cken sind nach internationalen Vorschriften bemessen worden, z. B. DIN, Eurocode, AASHTO, British Standard. Besonderes Gewicht wurde auf die Kapitel 1/4ber Kabel und Montage gelegt, denn hierin liegt der entscheidende Unterschied zu anderen Br 1/4ckenformen.
Die Auswahl der behandelten Schr gkabelbr 1/4cken erfolgte nach folgenden Gesichtspunkten: Br 1/4cken, an denen der Autor mitgearbeitet hat oder das Ingenieurb 1/4ro Leonhardt, Andr und Partner (LAP) ma Ÿgeblich beteiligt war, und Br 1/4cken mit konstruktiven Besonderheiten bzw.
